Remote Learning

As the Coronavirus spreads and the decision has been made for schools to close, pupils' learning is obviously going to be disrupted. During the closure we have set up this page to help parents, carers and teachers ensure continuity of education so that children do not miss out on valuable learning time.

Below is a social story which you may wish to show your young child / children if they are anxious or worried about Coronavirus.

Please make sure you follow us on Twitter. This is a great way for keeping our Redscope Family interacting and communicating with each other during this difficult time.

We would like to credit the Twinkl, Rising Stars and TT Rockstars websites as many of the Home Learning Pack sheets were downloaded from their sites.
The weekly tasks for Early Years and FS1 and 2 will be added onto the Class Dojo accounts, they can also be accessed below. Please make sure you log on to your account to receive updates from your child's Class teacher.
During the time which school is closed, you may find that you are using the internet more than usual. Please look at the link below for guidance on keeping your children safe online.

BBC Bitesize Daily

From the 20th April, you’ll be able to access regular daily lessons in English and Maths, as well as other core subjects, in an expanded version of the BBC Bitesize website and also on special programmes broadcast on BBC iPlayer and BBC Red Button.

The BBC have worked with education experts to make sure everyone who needs it can access learning resources during this uncertain time. You can also expect some of it to be delivered by well-known faces.

The Bitesize website will also expand to offer additional help for students and parents. New Maths and English lessons will be available every day for all ages. These will be created with resources from Bitesize, other parts of the BBC and other education providers. The content of these lessons will be backed up by new videos, practice tests, educational games and articles. Regular lessons on other core subjects, including science, will also be available.
